New Core Drill and Private Placement Closes

X-Cal Resources Ltd. and Omineca Gold Ltd. have completed the transaction announced on April 12, 2007.
Omineca has delivered a total of $ CDN 500,000 consisting of cash and drilling equipment to X-Cal in return for 1,428,571 common shares of X-Cal @ $0.35 (see April 12, 2007 X-Cal Press Release for details).
The contents of this release have been reviewed by Robert Thomason, M.Sc., who is a ‘Qualified Person’ as defined by NI-43-101.
