Mill Creek Geophysics

Jul 15, 2004

X-Cal Resources Ltd. has received encouraging geophysical images of its 100% owned Mill Creek Gold Property located in Lander County, Nevada, within the Cortez Area. The images can be found on the Company website located @ http://www.x-cal.com (see News Release section, click on Figure1 and Figure 2 within the July 15/04 press release to see the images).

Figure 1 presents Gravity Geophysical Survey for a portion of North Central Nevada, and also locates gold deposits and interpreted major structural elements. A major gravity lineament connects a number of gold deposits along a northwest line. The deposits include ET Blue, Cortez Hills and Pipeline. The deposits are located at intersections with prominent Northeast cross cutting faults. The early stage X-Cal Mill Creek Gold Property has a similar geophysical setting to the above mentioned gold deposits.

Figure 2 presents Airborne Magnetic Data for the same area as Figure 1. The major Northwest Structure is shown and a number of intrusions. Intrusions occur proximal to the Pipeline-Gold Acres and Cortez-Cortez Hills deposit clusters.

The gravity and magnetic geophysical data are encouraging and demonstrate the geophysical analogy that relates the setting of X-Cal’s early stage Mill Creek Gold Property to known deposit settings in the area.
